Abstract (EN)

Bid rigging crime settled in article 235 of Turkish Penal Code no. 5237. This article is in Ninth Section called "Offenses In The Fields Of Economy, Industry and Trading" in Third Chapter "Offenses Against Community" in Second Volume called "Special Provisions" of Turkish Penal Code. According to this article; any person who involves in mischief during the tenders relating to purchase or sale of goods and services on behalf of public institutions or corporations, is punished with imprisonment from three years to seven years. Some changes are made in law on the rigging in the tenders with the amendment by the Code Amending Certain Codes Related to Human Rights and Freedom Expression no. 6459. In the study crime of bid rigging is hadled related to this amendment.
