National romantic sensing style in the poems of İhsan Raif Hanım

İhsan Raif Hanım, a poet who adopted the National literature movement, wrote many poems on various subjects. In the poet's wide range of poems, there are social and individual feelings and thoughts such as war feelings, patriotism, love of the nation, national feelings, sorrow for the martyrs, good wishes to the Turkish nation, loneliness, love, regret. İhsan Raif Hanım intensely studied the concepts of the homeland and the nation in her poetry and drew attention to this issue. The poet's writing of sensitive, emotional and remarkable poems in such matters stems from her witnessing the wars and cruelties that happened between the homeland and the nation in her life between 1877 and 1926. In addition to Expressing her own national feelings and sensitivities in this kind of poetry, the poet aimed to emboss the public's national feelings and create national consciousness in the society. In this respect, it is possible to find the reflections of the "national romantic sense style" in her poems. The concept, which is described as the 'national romantic sense', basically means that nations become aware of their selfies and national values. Therefore, in order for nations to realize their own self, their bond with the past should be strengthened and they should have a good command of their national history. Through national romanticism, the individual who has this consciousness will reach to the national self by unifying the past with the future by making predictions about the future as well as solving the connection of her nation with the past. For this purpose, works have been given in our literature by our national romantic writers and poets and it has been tried to ensure that the nation finds its national identity through literary works. In this study, we dealt witht the poems of İhsan Raif Hanım with her "national romantic style". We analyzed the poet's poems in this style by dividing them into various sub-titles under the main heading of "national romantic sense style". Thus, in her poems, we tried to identify and reveal the elements of national romanticism separately. This study is important in terms of revealing in detail and in a whole way the elements reflecting the romantik national romantic sensation style in that İhsan Raif Hanım frequently used in her works.
