İhsânu'l Ulûm piece on the subject of logic in Fârâbî

Abû Nasr al-Fârâbî, known in the history of Islamic philosophy with the title ''Muallim-i Sâni ", is of great importance in this tradition of thought with his works on logic and philosophy. The thinker, who has the opinion that philosophy education will be inadequate without learning logic, is accepted by the competent names in this field with his logic identity. Fârâbî constitutes a philosophical imagination based on achieving the highest happiness.There is a need to know and explain the ways and methods to ensure this happiness. One of the methods is logic. In this study, logic is discussed in Fârâbî within the scope of his work İhsâu'l Ulûm (Census of Sciences). In this context, the content, usefulness, subject, name and parts of logic are evaluated. In this our study, it is aimed to examine the elements of logic and to determine the position of logic in the science of philosophy by adhering to this work.
