Abstract (EN)
The thinkers of Ikhwân al-Safâ' had a rather cumulative understanding of science in their works named Rasâilu Ikhwân al-safâ', which consists of fifty-two treatises. One of these sciences, which is handled in an unbiased and permissive manner, ilm-i ahkâm deals with the effects of celestial bodies on existence and the fields of correspondence. However, when looking at the current literature, there are very few studies that will examine these effects and correspondences in human specific and explain the existence system and today. Within the scope of this determination, first of all, we made a literature review consisting of Hermetic, Sâbiî and Hellenistic cosmologies which are the source of the analyzes of Ikhwân, the New Platonic thought used in the explanation of the existence system and the works of today's astrologers. As a result of this, we have found it appropriate to judge that the scientific judgment is a type of knowledge that is based on periodic astronomical assumptions and deals with the effects and correspondences revealed by the celestial bodies in the human and its environment. The way of observation and interpretation, which will consider the relationship of this type of knowledge with humans, is revealed by the combination of three things. These; the scientific assumptions of the period are the guidance of religious texts and a cruel syncretism. Therefore, taking these three phenomena into consideration, we have revealed the effects of celestial bodies resulting from their own structures, with the qualities reflected on humans and their surroundings as a causal result of the existential hierarchy. In addition, we have seen that the explanations on the subject within the scope of Rasâil can be a source of modern astrology to a certain extent.
