Paris in Turkish novel from II. Constitutionalism to 1922

Ottoman Empire opens the doors till the end to Western Civilization in 19. century. Within the later periods, interaction continues with the west. Paris which is virtually role model of Western civilization becomes one of precursor city with regard to culter, art and political of term for Turkish scholar and Turkish artist. In this manner, Paris which represents not only physical place but also mentality and goins functionality has been a place which frequently uses a place in Turkish novel. Prepared work in this direction is tried to retain about which aspect to perceived of Paris in work how is took role as an element of novel, in period of II. Constitutional period to Republic period. In the first part of the work introdiction which consits of five parts is given the informations about the period of II. Constitutional of historical, political, social and literary life which contains episode of the thesis; in second part it is given introduction and summary of inspected novels under the title "Introduction an Summary of Inspected Novels"; in the third part titled "Paris In Turkish Novel In The Context of Space", the novels attempted to reveal the spaces surrounding Paris and the opinions formed around them; The fourth part, titled "Paris in Turkish Novel in Heroic Context", explains how Paris acquired novel qualities in terms of novel heroes; In the fifth section, titled "Paris in Turkish Novel in the Context of Mentality", it was attempted to determine how Paris created the infrastructure of ideas rather than being a physical space. In the "Conclusion" section, a general evaluation of the data obtained in the context of the examined works is made.
