On theother hand, national holidays are a result and an indicator of the concept of nation-state andnew world perception, both of which emerged after the French Revolution.The permanent fundamental function of these structures which differ in terms of timingand content from rite to national holiday is to provide the public acceptance of the values thatthe prevailing force supports. In addition, they are practices that supply legality to thegovernment.In the Ottoman Empire, structures such as parade and ceremony had been executed witha limited first rate attendance of the public until the II. TerakkiEra, National Combat Era, and the Republic Era after basic information about feasts ispresented.Being the common National feast of both Ottoman and Republican Turkey, Libertyfeast would continue to exist while being affected by the changing political scene in years andform a narrative that demonstrates the political and social scenes of the years when it was inforce.
