Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, oscillation and separation properties for the two- interval Sturm Liouville equation were investigated.This study is organized as follows. Chapter 1 provides brief information on the scienti c signi cance and elds of application of the problem under consideration. Chapter 2 provides an overview of the literature on the topic of the thesis. Chapter 3 presents the basic concepts and properties of classical Sturm-Liouville problem. In the main part of the thesis(Chapter 4) the oscillation and separation properties of the two-interval Sturm Liouville equation, together with additional transmission conditions at the communication point, (these conditions are called transmission conditions) are found.
