Abstract (EN)
The subject of this study is to provide an insight into the origins of two dimensional fantastic/fantasy imagery and question its evolution within a certain outline. Mythological origins of fanstastic imagery are addressed in a comparative manner and fantastic imagery inherited from past through myths and legends until today is addressed. Search for fantastic imagery, fantastic images appeared throughout its evolution and its place in today's world are addressed throught the study. This study reviews the notion of fantasy throughout history beginning from cave paintings "parietal art" addressing pioneering works and people in the past with their connections to today's digital age and virtual reality technologies with its development process and applications of fantasy that are in effect.
