The study was carried out under greenhose conditions, at thedepartment of Agriculture Faculty, Çukurova Universty. In this experiment, cloverand onion were used as host plants. As regard with the growth environment;andezetik Tufe : Soil: compost: (andezetik Tufe +Soil (2:1 v/v) %4 and %8 compost-using two different growth conditions were used. On the 10th week following thesowing, the plants were harvested and shoot and root- dry weight, root infection, %Pand Zn content were determined.Of those ten different kinds of compost, that of the number 6 was determinedto be the most efficient medium affecting the plant growth and development at thehighest rate. Among the growth media the most efficient compost medium of growthwas determined to be andezitik Tufe + Soil with a 4 % proportion. It was alsoobserved that Compost 7 medium are the second effective respectively.The researchoutcomes show that G. intradices are the most effective mycorrhizal species.Keywoords : Different compost, different plants, host plant, mycorrizae species.IIII I
