During and after World War II, Iran (1938-1953)

This thesis study focuses on the effects of political developments on the era of Iran Shah Rıza Pehlavi's reign and aftermath politics developed against to England and Russia. Rıza Shah, prior the second world war, developed close relationship with rising German politics against England and Russia which were seen as enemy of the state as imperialist countries. As the Germans having success during the first years of Second World War Iran's shah developed more close relationship with Germany. Agreements and comments done show that Iran saw Germany as balance power against its traditional enemies. Iran was cleaned from the effects of Germany by the occupation of England and Germany during Second World War As the occupation started political changes started in Iran. Iran was started to be seem and used as a safe harbor and corridor by the allies to help Russia when USA entered Second World War during and after Second World War internal disturbance, economic struggles and political conflicts have taken place in Iran due to petroleum and zone of influence of powers. Although Iran stayed whole as a state it also found itself under continues instability and outside imposed coups. Key Words: RızaHan, Rıza Shah, II.
