Abstract (EN)
In recent years, the impacts of climate change have profoundly affected not only natural ecosystems but also human settlements and social structures. In particular, climate-induced displacement processes have given rise to complex, multilayered problem areas in the context of social justice and human rights. This study aims to examine forced displacements resulting from climate change through an integrated approach from the perspectives of human rights and social justice. The main research problem of the study focuses on how the phenomenon of climate-induced migration intersects with human rights violations and social injustices. Within this framework, the central hypothesis posits that the inadequacy of existing international legal norms and deepening socio-economic inequalities significantly hinder displaced individuals' access to fundamental rights and obstruct the realization of social justice. The research systematically analyzes academic studies, conventions, declarations, policy reports, and case examples at both national and international levels. In doing so, climate-induced displacements are evaluated through a multidisciplinary perspective encompassing legal, social, and environmental dimensions, and human rights-oriented solution proposals are sought to be developed.
