Özet (EN)
Climate change is accepted as one of the global problems of today's world. In this regard, studies are carried out both for recognizing the sources of problems and for solving these problems. Climate change is a change that occurs when human activities degrade the composition of the atmosphere in addition to natural climate changes. Human activities have played an important role in changes in climate, especially with the industrial revolution. The aviation industry is also closely related to climate change. Climate change is a factor that both affects and is affected by the aviation industry. Aviation activities affect climate change by contributing to greenhouse gas emissions. The use of fossil fuels by airplanes releases greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide, methane and nitrogen oxides into the atmosphere. These greenhouse gases accumulate in the atmosphere, creating a greenhouse effect and contributing to climate change. The aviation industry is a vulnerable industry to the effects of climate change. Changes in weather conditions caused by climate change can affect the performance of airplanes. In particular, changing wind direction, increasing or decreasing wind power and rising temperatures can adversely affect the take-off performance of aircraft. In addition, events such as sea level rise, erosion, coastal erosion, floods and hurricanes due to climate change pose risks at airports. These impacts can damage and render unusable runways, aprons, aircraft and other structures at airports. In addition, these disadvantages can increase flight maintenance costs and reduce the operational capacity and efficiency of airports. In this thesis study, point climate change was evaluated with meteorological data taken from the Automatic Meteorological Observation Stations (OMGİ) closest to Ankara Esenboga Airport, Antalya Airport, Diyarbakır Airport, Erzurum Airport, İzmir Airport, Konya Airport and Trabzon Airport, using the Orange machine learning program. The results are with the existence of climate change; this suggests that climate change also varies regionally.
