Abstract (EN)

The main purpose of this research is to present the general features of vocational language, to decsribe linguistic features of Economics and Administrative Sciences Turkish and to present course material suggestion for teaching Turkish as a foreign language. In accordance with this purpose, the term of vocational language and general linguistic features of vocational language have been described and it has been studied how to teach vocational foreign language. In this framework, lexical, grammatical, textual and extralinguistic features of Economics and Administrative Sciences Turkish have been described and in the light of this information, an example of course material for teaching vocational Turkish as a foreign language has been offered. As a result of this research, it has been found out that vocational language is a speacial area of general language, it has various features of its own and many of those features have been picked from general language but vocational language differs from general language according to its usage. The presented linguistic features of Economics and Administrative Sciences Turkish in this research is thought to lead both the vocational Turkish as a foreign language courses and programmes and following scientific studies.
