The relationship between communication skills and adult attachment styles in comparison with psychopathological symptoms

The need to communicate for people is a necessity for social structure. Individuals' healthy communications with their environment depend on their communication skills. Attachment skills have an important role in Interpersonal relationships. Attachment system regulates communication according to given reactions. In adults, important happenings such as marriage and separation can affect attachment styles. On the other hand, various attachment patterns also create conditions which predispose psychopathology. In the previous research, the relationships between communication skills, attachment styles in adults and signs of psychopathology were analysed.
