The importance of promotion efforts in communication sector and an application over cable tv

Communication, has an important role in our life among the beginning of humanity and today. The communication which was made by smoke or birds replace to telephones, fiber optic infrastructures, satellites and internet. Internet became indispensable part of our lives. From banking processes, to tickets, information researches, everything has started to be done from internet, and the world has become a global village.Fiber optic infrastructures not only offer us internet services, but also provides us lots of new services like cheaper telephone services, hd (high definiton) and sd (standart definition) dijital television broadcasts and interactive services. This situation, the internets becoming widespread, increases competition between ISS (Internet Service Provider) firms day by day. The firms which were known as their one special service, meets their customers with lots of new services by the development of technology and they have to make mercilessly competition to each other to gain more customer. This case makes the promotion facilities more and more important. To raise customer value, firms try all methods, more over they have to make personel promotion facilities.In this thesis study, an ISS (Internet Service Provider) firms promotion facilities value in customer perception was researched and some suggestions were offered by the help of the results.
