The effects of interests on choosing profession, class subject and middel school education institutions

The importance of education on the development of an individual absolutely cannot be argued. The choices made in critical education periods affect the individual life?s quality. However, in order to make right choices; the person has to know what he/she wants, why he/she wants it, like what interest and talents he/ she has. He/ she has to have realistic foresight on the aspect of physical, mental and economical possibilities, evaluate his/her existent choices considering this criteria and made decision about his/ her profession choice.As far as I have observed in the school I?m working, I have determined that the quality of education increases when the students? interests match their choices on their profession or on the contrary, the results which occur when the students make choices about the career branches different from their interests create individual unacceptance, discipline problems at school and the negative feedback of being discontented on the work influences their education process in negative way.The aim of this work is making the students of middle school institutions aware of their interests and determing that how successful consultant studies on the subject of orientating the students to choose their branch.Key Words: Development, Education, Interest, Professional Consultant, Branch
