Abstract (EN)

Since the emergence of Islam, Islamic leaders have been accepted as political and have spread their religious beliefs. Hz. Muhammad carried out diplomatic activities with letters of invitation. Indeed, after the Prophet, the Rashid Caliphs and the Umayyad lasted this tradition. The Abbasîd state, which was founded on their foundations, carried out many activities in the fields of political, social, commercial and economic culture. The Abbasîd period, which dates back to the Islamic world from 750 to 1258, begins with the passing of the Caliph Abu al-Abbas. With the expansion of the borders of the Islamic state with the dynasty's taking the Islamic leadership, many cities were conquered. Muslims captured many Byzantine cities. Byzantium and Muslims directly contacted Byzantine culture and civilization. Wars can be considered the most effective means of fusing cultures. As a matter of fact, it happened. Translation activities were spread by the ambassadors in the Islamic country of Byzantine Culture. Again, the Byzantine Islamic culture and civilization was influenced by the Byzantines. The struggles with Byzantium in Anatolia took place even in the Arab and Byzantine epics. These epics are important in showing how they affect both communities. Abbasîd and Byzantine states interacted in every field. In this context, Abbasî-Byzantine influence was included in the study.
