Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to examine the intermediary role of the perceived sense of family coherence in the relationship between resilience and life satisfaction levels of individuals in early and middle adolescence periods. At the same time, it will be examined whether the variables of resilience, life satisfaction and sense of family coherence differ depending on individuals' demographic information. The sample of the study consists of 323 individuals, 159 girls and 164 boys, aged 12 and 17. The data of the research were obtained by using the Demographic Information Form, Resilience Scale of Children and Adolescents, Life Satisfaction Scale and Family Sense of Coherence Scale. SPSS 22.0 was used while analyzing the data. Findings were obtained using Independent Samples t-Test, ANOVA, Pearson Correlation and Bootstrap method. As a result of the research, it was determined that the level of resilience, life satisfaction and the sense of family coherence of participants differed depend on the economic situation. In addition, differentiation was observed in two sub-dimensions of the sense of family coherence depending on the economic situation; there was no difference only in the 'understandability' sub-dimension. Also, it was determined that the levels of all three variables did not differ depend on gender and age. When the relationships between variables are examined, it was concluded that there were positive and significant relationships between variables. At the final stage of analysis, it has been determined that the sense of coherence plays a meaningful mediator role in the relationship between resilience and life satisfaction.
