First Smile

The story focuses on the relationships of a family in the face of an othervise trivial crisis. Following the passing of his wife, Oktay has remarried to Neslihan and currenlty they are living together with Oktay's son from his previous marriage Emir. Despite Neslihan's good intentions, Emir has displayed a cold front to his step-mother's approach and this escalates one night as Emir returns home from school to completely lock himself away from his family. Oktay in worry that the already fragile relationship between son and step-mom has returned to the initial worse stage, decides to take action. As the father and son speak, Oktay discoveres that the troubles seed not in family troubles but in a much sweeter challenge.
