The expectations from outdoor lesson activities of teacher and students participating outdoor lesson activities in second grade primary education and secondary education: Example of the province of Yozgat

This study has been done with the aim of determining the expectations of the students and teachers who participate in outdoor lesson activities according to the variables from activities. Through this aim a questionnaire, prepared related to outdoor activities which was formed of 24 questions separately for high school and second grade primary school teachers and students participating the outdoor activities in the branches of physical education, Turkish language and literature, music and art in Yozgat has been applied. A foursome likert scale has been used for the questions forming the questionnaire. Questionnaires have been applied and gathered via Yozgat Directory of Education and in the process of analysis SPPS programme has been used.In the prologue by presenting the problem, the importance and result of the aimed study to be done has been pointed out; the assumptions, limitedness and definitions related to the study has been presented.Cognitively, the solutions of the problems have been presented with the definitions related with outdoor lesson activities ,the studies done related to the advantages, aims, principles and importance of outdoor lesson activities and laws, regulations circulars, with assessments and determined problems. By evaluating the studies which are done related to the subject, the sighted ideas have been utilized and the works quoted have been arrayed in the source part.In the research, survey method has been applied. The research is carried out on data which are persistent to the survey. Datum acquired from the questionnaire have been illustrated and interpreted via the frequencies and percentages. In comparison of the difference related to the ideas, test and analysis of variance (one-way Anova) has been used. With the results of analysis of variance post hoc t-test has been applied to find in which group the difference is. For statistical meaningfulness 0,05 level of meaningfulness has been used.After the study, it has been determined that the outdoor lesson activities haven?t reached to their planned aims, haven?t been applied enough, have been done only for show, the school governors haven?t encouraged the students to outdoor lesson activities, the facilities of the schools and the allowed time for the outdoor lesson activities are inadequate. The problem and results fixed and the offers related to these problems have been arrayed in the conclusion.Key Words: outdoor lesson activities, second grade primary education, secondary education, student, teacher.
