A research on listening skills of primary school third class students

In this investigation, the effect of a procedure, in which various methods and techniques aiming improvement of listening skills, on 3. class primary school students is tested. In the first chapter; the target and importance of the study is explained and probable problems are discussed. Issues related with listening skills take place in the second chapter. Third chapter encompasses the methodology while the forth chapter gives knowledge about symptoms and ideas.In the fifth chapter the results and in the sixth chapter some advice are given The investigation is planned in 2 tests; one is a pre-test and the 2. one is an accompanying final test. There is one group and it is an experimental lol study lasting for 12 weeks. Pre-test and final test are recommended as a ?Listening Skills Moraging Scale ? and during the 10 weeks period experience various methods and technigues for the development of listening skills are used. Donanma lkögretim Okulu 3-A students, totally 31 students, continiuing their education on 2006-2007 education year session of Gölcük/ Kocaeli form the experimental study group. By using t-test of the SPSS results, the existence of a valuable difference in between the pre and final test resuls of the students is analysed; also the listening skills and development of these skills due to various parameters are taken into consideration.
