Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, primary school 6th grade, 7th grade and 8th grade, theTurkish textbooks, which are approved by Ministry of Education between1999 and 2003, are examined. The grammer mistakes are fixed and themistakes are classified according to types.The result of the investigation shows that the language which is usedin Turkish textbooks is inappropriate to the aims of Turkish NationalEducation. The excessive amount of mistakes and the inconsistent ofgrammer structure prevent students to learn their primitive language better. Italso causes to cease to care for their primitive language.The main aim of this work is attract attention lecturer, writer and T.T.Kcommission members to the existing mistakes and deficiency in Turkishtextbooks.
