Teaching the subject which ecosystems are there in our environment and what is happening here by using the concept maps and their effect upon student's success and behawrour in science lesson for 7 th grade

This research was done to investigate the success of the students on sciencelesson by using the education method supported by concept map.The study was done on 72 students who studied at 7th class of Şair NedimPrimary School in Mamak districk in Ankara.There were two groups.The fırst önewas the experiment class,the other öne was the control class.The equality of the claseswas determened by using some tests such as success test, logical thought test,themarks at 6th class and the results of the pre attitude survey of science lesson.The research prolonged for 4 weeks.The control class studied by classicalmethod,the experiment class studied by the method supported by concept map.At the research,success test,logical thought test,the attitude survey of sciencelesson and concept map were used to get data.T-test was used to evaluate thehypothesis.A meaningful difference was seen between the control group and theexperiment group.The experiment group's success and attitute were different from theother group.Consequently, the students were more successful who used the method thatwas supported by concept map at the subject "Which ecosystems are exist in oursurrounding and What happens?".This method will provide a positive cotribution toour education system.Key Words:Concept,Concept Map,Attitute,Success
