The effect of using cooperative learning method about the systems of our body on academic success in the science and thecnology of primary for 7. grade

In this research, teaching through Cooperative Learning Methodology analyzed in terms of their effect on the 7th class elementary education students? academic performance in Science Courses and their attitudes in the lectures.The research has made in The President of Republic Süleyman Demirel Elementary Education School in the Damal district of Ardahan province in the fist term of 2009-2010. 44 students has participated in research group.21 of them are selected as the experiment group, and another 23 of them are selected control group. The study has continued for eight weeks. In the experiment group, the lectures are covered through the use of Cooperative Learning Methodology, even in the control group, the lectures are covered Teacher Centered Teaching Methodology. Through the research, both experiment and control groups are evaluated through Science Courses Success Test and Science Courses Attitude Survey, as part of the pre and final tests accordingly.The analysis of the data which is gained in test for success is made with korverjans analysis after Arithmetical Medium.In terms of the students? attitudes in experiment and control groups towards Science Courses, in the group practicing Cooperative Learning methodology the attitudes towards Science Courses are developed in a positive direction, whereas in the control group, such a significant change and/or development is not noticed.Key words: Cooperative Learning
