The Research on the primary education 7th class students` the vocabulary capacity

The most necessary skills in his life time is to comprehend (toread, to listen) and to explain (to speak, to write). The success to make use of thesefundamental skills depends on the vocabulary capacity.How many vocabularies to teach at every ages, to decide which vocabularies theyshould be, using scientific methods and techniques to teach vocabularies and insufficiency ofthe prepared lecture books in Turkish Language Program will affect the vocabulary capacity.In addition to these, the social-economic situation of the students affects their vocabularycapacity. Thus, in this study the primary education 7th class students? the vocabulary capacityis researched.The aim of the research is to determine the vocabularies used by primary education7th class students continuously and to define the relationship between the vocabulary capacityand the social-economical situation of the students.The study named ?The Research On The Primary Education 7th Class students? TheVocabulary Capacity? consists of three sections.In the first section, the description of the vocabulary capacity, indications of thevocabulary capacity in educational levels, the importance of the vocabulary capacity,techniques and methods for improving the vocabulary capacity, the state of the problem,purpose of the research, importance of the research, the problem sentence, sub-problems,limitations, assumptions, definitions, method of the research, universe, sampling, and researchrelated with the vocabulary capacity are mentioned.In the second section, what type of words used, averaged number of words in thesentences, averaged number of words in the sentences in the compositions, the mostfrequently used words, the most significant words in the composition written by the primaryeducation 7th class students are investigated. The results and suggestions to the investigationof the relationship between social-economical situation and the vocabulary capacity of thestudents are also mentioned.In the third section, the sentences in the compositions written by the students areexamined.
