The comparision of the effect of musical method and method benefiting from copying on the achievement of the 8th grade students at visual arts course and to see the contribution to the education

This research has been conducted to investigate the contribution of visual art methods, which are the copying method and musical method, on 8th grade primary school students.The research has been conducted at Ülker Primary School by choosing 30 students in 8th grade according to their achievements at the visual arts course. In this research, the Copying and Musical methods which all are the methods of the visual arts education have been applied with the pre-test and post-test. The results of the pre-test and post-test have been analyzed and with the standard deviations have been calculated according to the t-test.The study has shown that;In the application of the copying method and musical method in visual arts course, there has been found a noticeable difference between the pre-test average marks measured just before the application of copying method and musical method of students who have higher and lower success. As a result, it has been seen that for students with good success in the pre-test results, have obtained a much more positive result in the post-test after the application of these methods.There has been a noticeable difference between the two student groups regarding the understanding capability in the Musical Method. It has been found that the students with a lower success in the education have obtained high learning success.In this research, the education methods that have been applied, builds up the behavior that wants to be given to the student according to the desired aim. The Copying method restricts the student?s creativity, whereas the method regarding music gives the student the opportunity to create without any restrictions.
