Exchangig conditions require a high qualityeducation for everyone. Hence, it is necessity that educationalists must work better forgetting to students possitive behaviors and a high quality education.In this study, the researcher trying to determine teachers and principals? view son clasroom teachers? skills related to use m aterial effectivelly in prim ary schools. W iththis aim , a stud y w as m ade b y researcher for fix ing teachers? needs in -service trainingand teachers? skills about using m aterial on teach ing activities and their adequacies tobenefit from possibilities in primary schools.The study was conducted as a descriptive survey and application of aquestionnaire. The working population consisted of teachers and principals selectedfrom in the city of Antalya. This study was made 2005-2006 educational season; thedata gathered from 65 schools, 260 teachers and 65 principals selected with the methodof heap sampling in the city of Antalya.In the end of this research, the following conclusions can be drawn: Teachersdidn?t find out cap able about using and p roducin g m aterials b y them selv es. In additionto this, teachers thought that possitivelly about using and producing materials; besides,teachers? needs in -service training on using and producing materials; there isn?tsufficient materials in schools; on the other hand, teachers thought possitivelly that ?thelesson of teachin g techno logies and im proving m aterials? w hich w as given in educationfaculties. T h at is to say, ?the lesson o f teachin g technolo gies and im prov ing m aterials?affects clasroom teachers? skills possitivelly related to using and producing materialeffectivelly in primary schools.According to the findings of this study; the following proposals may be made:Teachers must taken in-service training by experts and materials must increase as unitand quality for fix ing teachers? skills about using and producin g m aterial effectivelly inschools. In addition to this; seminars must given to teachers by experts about using newmaterials in the labrotories thus, teachers can use materials effectivelly in primaryschools.
