Abstract (EN)

The overall objective of this research is to determine preservice students' attitudes toward the subject environmental problems and education. Study was performed on total of 659 preservice teachers in the Firat University Faculty of Education Department of Elementary Education and Science Education Departments on 1st grade, 2nd grade, 3rd grade, 4th grade studying to normal classes and evening classes. In this study was used to survey metod. Environmental problems and environmental education related to opinions scale developed by the researchers. The data determined by survey, It was evaluated using descriptive statistical techniques.The SPSS was used to analyze the data. According to the obtained data of the t-test results; in science and elementary preservice teachers' opinions on the scale of environmental problems and environmental education related to opinions, there is a significant difference in favor of science preservice teachers. According to results,it can be said that preservice science teachers is more sensitive to environmental issues and environmental education than elementary preservice students.
