Analyzing analogies of sufficiency in the secondary stage of elementary school science and technology textbooks

It is dependent a lot of variable of the durability, changing and transformation of society, the most important of these are curriculum and textbooks in education. So in this study, were investigated analogies of sufficiency in primary school science and technology books.In this study, which possesses a narrative feature, general combing model was used. the number of analogies and their qualifications are identified. These analogies are collected from science and technology books. 6th class Science and Technolog Textbooks were published by Pasifik press, 7th and 8th class Science and Technolog Textbooks were published by MEB press.45 analogies the textbook which was published by Ministry of National Education in 2010 for 6th, 7th and 8th grades were examined through documentary analysis.The greater part of these analogies is used in 7.th class, than to 6. and 8. th class level orderly. 45 analogies were examined one by one in terms of their sort, were used analogies classification method that were developed in 1994 by Thilele and Treagus. The obtained data has been presented as tables. When analogies are investigated, it is seen that these analogies are generally simple and pictorial-verbal.
