Abstract (EN)
ABSTRACT This study has been made to put forward scondary school's Turkish lessons of its word and word groups. Although some studies had been made before our study different from them with its large amount of 6, 7 and 8. class books that become from 13 publishing houses and includes 39 books. At scondary classes (6, 7 and 8. class) students are tought some vocabulary as noun, verb, idiom and some word groups from Turkish lesson books. And at Turkish lesson books 'vocabulary work parts' include different words between eachother. Our study is about quantity and similarity of words and that will be answer about estimates which done before by some studies and give some different proposals about case. This study universe becomes from 2001-2004 years' Turkish lesson books which were aproved by Ministry Education. Words and word groups like noun, verb, idiom and some word groups are made to index cards separately. After words were made to index cards one by one that cards turned to account by using SPSS 10.0 (Statistic Package For Social Science) programme. To describe statistical data, frequency (F) and percent (%) terms used at the study. Key Words: "vocabulary works, Turkish lesson books, vocabulary, similarity words teaching."
