A research on Turkish grammer education in second level primary schools

The proper use of Turkish and existence of it is possible with the education ofgrammer. For this reason, the education of grammer has a vital importance. Despiteits importance, the education of Turkish grammer is not achieved as much asexpected. It seems as a lecture; the application of the information turned tobehaviours has been ignored. In this study, the most benefit methods in the period ofgrammer are studied and the examples of lesson plan are prerared by applying thesemethods.The study is composed of four section. In the first section, language and itsconcepts have been examined; the importance of gramer education, its importance inTurkish education, the problems in this area, the suggestions for this problems andthe major principle in language education have also been mentioned. In the secondsection, the methods have been considered, the importance and the necessity of thechoice of methods in terms of grammer have been stated and the methods used ingrammer education has been explained whit its properties. In the third section,example lesson plans based on the mentioned methods have been discussed; theproper educationel area has been tried to hoppen.In the last section including the conclusion and suggestion, it seems thatgrammer is just an abstract information mass and it is explained that it is taught in atemporary way; it is concluded that the aimed behaviours of language teaching hasnot been able to applied succesfully. The harm of this problem to Turkish has beenconsidered; it is emphasized that the education of Turkish grammer should be donewith suitable methods and proper applications as a solution in educational instituans.For this reason, the suggestions related to Turkish grammer teaching have beenoffered.Key Words: Turkish education, grammer education, method.
