Control management and causes of anger in trainers who work in primary school: Sample of Elazığ city

The aim of this research is to determine the opinions of the primary school teachers related to their causes of anger, the styles of anger expression and the strategies of anger management. The causes of teachers? anger, their anger expressions styles and anger management strategies were investigated according to the veriables of their sex, senority, branch and type of educational department. The population of the research consists of 3128 teachers who work in 114 primary schools in the city center of Elazığ. Research sample composed of 702 teachers, who were selected with random method in population research.At the phase of preparing the criterion to be applied on the trieds, literature related to anger has been reviewed, related concepts have been examined and criterion items have been constituted. While criterion items were being constituted, experts? opinions have been called upon. When analysing the data, the Statistical Package For Social Sciences (SPSS) was used.Using, The Independent Gorup T Test , Non-Parametric Mann Whitnety U, One Way Analysis Of Variance and Non-Parametric Kruskal Wallis H Test analyzed the raw data. In the case of a significant difference among group averages, the Scheffe Test and the LSD Test was used to determine the source of the difference. The level of significance was selected as P<0.05.According to the results of the research, there is no significant diference inthe opinions of the teachers related to their causes of anger and expression of anger in terms of Professional experience. It was determined that the significant difference is related to the veriables of sex, branch and the school graduated from. In the anger management dimension, it was determined that professional experiance and branch are significant veriables whereas there is no significant difference between the opinions related to the veriables of sex and the school graduated from.According to the results gathered, it can be said that the anger can permanently be encountered at the education, our teachers are aware of their anger and by the parallel dimension with the experience from the anger management point of view more strategies are developed.
