Socialization level of the students who are attending out of class exercises in primary schools

In this study, we have tried to determine the benefits of participation of the students to the outdoor exercise activities, on the changes and the impact level of socialization. In line with this objective, a study has been held with a total number of 60 students of the 6th, 7th and 8th grades of an elemantary school in Manisa City Center, of which 30 were in implementation and 30 were in control group. In the phase of identification 60 students, socialization due to diligence scale was used on 157 students from the 6th 7th and 8th grades of the same school. All of the participants were sorted ascending due to their scale of socializing, and the implementation and control groups were created by random selection of least scaled 60 students.Outdoor exercise activities were organized to the experimental group for 8 weeks, but the normal school life was maintained for the control group without any extra activities. Socialization due to diligence scale used before the study is accepted as the preliminary test. At the end of the study, socialization due to diligence test was applied again as posttest. Data collected from these tests are evaluated with SPSS16 paclage software.At the end of the evaluation , statistically significant improvement is determined in the level of socialization of the outdoor exercise activities of attendants, in reference with the status before the activities.Key Words: socialization, outdoor exercise, Physical Education, sport
