Abstract (EN)
This research was carried out to determine the perceptions of quality of life in school and the level of satisfaction that teachers working in primary schools provide from their work, and to examine the relationship between quality of life in school and level of job satisfaction. The study also examined whether there was a statistical differentiation in school quality of life perceptions and job satisfaction levels according to the defining characteristics of teachers. The sample of the research conducted in the relational screening model was 731 working in Afyonkarahisar/Central, Bolvadin and Çobanlar districts in the 2019-2020 academic year. Data was collected by survey method. The survey in question consists of three parts. In the first section, the descriptive characteristics of the participants created by the researcher (age, gender, etc.) there are nine multiple choice questions to determine. In the second part of the survey, "teacher school quality of life scale "developed by Sarı (2007), and in the third part," Minnesota job satisfaction scale " adapted to Turkish by Baycan (1985) developed by Weiss, Dawis, & England, (1967) was included. In order to use the data collection tools, the necessary permissions were obtained from the Afyonkarahisar Provincial Directorate of national education for the implementation of the data collection tools in schools. At the data analysis stage, SPSS and AMOS programs were used. The relationship between school quality of life and job satisfaction levels was studied by correlation analysis, and the level of job satisfaction of school quality of life was studied by regression analysis. Differences in school quality of life and job satisfaction levels according to the identifying characteristics of teachers were examined by t-test, one-way variance analysis and post hoc analysis. As a result of the research, it was determined that teachers have a high level of perception of school quality of life and provide moderate satisfaction with their work. It was determined that there were statistically positive significant relationships between teachers 'quality of life in school and job satisfaction, and that teachers' overall perception of quality of life in school was estimated at 57.9% on overall job satisfaction levels. All dimensions of school quality of life have a positive impact on teachers ' internal satisfaction and overall satisfaction levels. While their perception of the student does not have a statistical effect on external satisfaction levels, their perception of the manager, teacher and school has been found to increase their overall satisfaction levels. In the study, it was also determined that there were differences in school quality of life and job satisfaction levels according to the defining characteristics of teachers. In order to reach general conclusions about the relationship between teachers ' school quality of life and job satisfaction levels, it is recommended that similar research be carried out at other levels of teaching and in different provinces.
