The aim of this research is to analyze the relation between the attitudes of the students from the 6th. 7th. and 8th grade primary school education towards Technology and Design lesson and their academic success. In this study, it is researched that if in accordance to variants such as the students ?gender?, ?the class levels?, ?mothers educational background?, ?fathers educational background?, family?s ?level of income?, ? any differences are appearing or not about the Students attitude towards Technology and Design lesson.In this research, It was used the descriptive-scannig model.The working space of this research is applied from 6th ,7th and 8th class students from primary schools located in Antalya within 2011 ? 2012 Academic Year. It was selected 9 primary schools as an example group. When these schools were selected, social-economic and the place of schools? successes was taken into consideration. To this research, 594 female students, 571 male students; as totally 1165 students took apart from 9 primary schools.As gathering data, it was used Technology and Design lesson attitude rubric from developed by the explorer. Lesson attitude rubric is formed 28 rules. Cronbach alpha reliability rate was submitted as 0,94. And the result of factor analysis was found out one dimension.In the analysis of statiscial data of research, arithmetic mean, Standard deviation, frequency and percentage calculations, t-test, one way anova, tamhane?s T2 test and simple correlation analysis test was applied.As a result of research, students? attitude; towards the Technology and Design, shows a meaningful diversity of their gender, female students have a more positive attitude thanmale students, Shows a meaningful diversity of students level, 6th grade students have more positive attitude than 7th and 8th grades, Shows a meaningful diversity of economic status increases positive attitude when the economic status raise,Shows that a meaningful diversity of their parents? educations and is confirmed that there is a positive relationship between their attitudes to the lesson and their academic successes.According to the results of students marks; there is a meaningful diversity and female students are more successful than male ones, There isn?t a significant diversity about their grades,There is a meaningful diversty about their economic status and their grades increase when their economic status raise.And also there is a meaingful diversity about parents? education and it is seemed that if their education level is getting beter, students marks is getting beter, too.Key words: Technology and Design, Attitude, Academic Success.
