This search is about school managers? duty definitions.The searche?s problem is applied to find out the primary school teachers? perception about their own school managers? duty definitions and their behaviours? levels.Its aim is to determine if the teachers? personal qualifications effect their perception or not.Efficiency at search;it is accepted that their roles while they are working and the others? Perception levels.The search?s aim is to find out the connection between primary school managers? duty definitions and their behaviour levels according to primary school teachers? perception.So,it can be determined that school managers who has a key person role in education and variety of duties,and their strong,weak and deficiency about their duties.The search?s result, by determining school managers?duties and their problematic and sufficient sides ; a)make more concrete and scientific suggestions while defining managers? duty definitions, b) while they are working and using their authority, they can contribute to association?s aim direction.The search?s universe is primary schools in İstanbul,Europe in 2007-2008 education year. To increase exemplary?s effect, primary schools are taken the search exemplary by using heap up method with the point of view schools? county and 187 teachers from 22 schools constitute the exemplary group. 225 teachers are joined in this group.194 of the inquiries are returned.Valid inquiries? numbers are 187 because from these returned inquiries, 7 of them are missing or mistaken.The returned inquiries which are delivered to the teachers in the exemplary group schools rate is %86,22.The missing or mistaken returned inquiries rate is %3,11, valid inquiries rate is %83,11.These valid inquiries are explained by using SPSS 15.0 (Statistical Packet fort he Social Science) and Microsoft Office Excel 2003.1.At the end of these searches ,it isn?t found a very high duty definition about teachers? participation tendency of school managers? duty definitions.It can be said that there is a linear balance between the school managers? duties and their duty definitions.This case result depends on according to the school managers? duty definitions and teachers? partly participation, participation tendency and not participation tendency2.In İstanbul City,Europe Area the primary school teachers? opinions about their own school managers? behaviours in duty definitions, make meaningful differences according to the teachers? sex,ages,marital statues,graduations,their working types (staff & contractual), branches,seniority,working hours at their schools,if they become managers or not beforehand, taking classroom management lesson or taking duty education or not and their perception levels to their schools as a whole.
