Abstract (EN)

In the change and development of the 21st century's reform school movement, school managers will have to have innovative leadership skills. In this research of innovative leadership we emphasized the impact, intellectual stimulation, suggestion and dimensions of individual support of primary school managers' behaviors and their reactions in variable situations. In this research the survey analyst used the likert-type scale on innovative leadership . The data was collected from 176 teachers of Silivri municipality of Istanbul province. In analyzing the data Mann Whitney-U analysis, Kruskal Wallis-H analysis, variance analysis and Kolmagorov Smirnov analysis was used.Teachers think that the school managers have the innovative leadership skills. They also think that the biggest characteristic of an innovative leadership skill of those managers is their intellectual stimulation. Respectively individual interest level, inspiration and charisma follow. Findings point out that teachers think inspiration and charisma are the weakest levels of innovative leadership skill of most school managers. Though teachers think transformational leadership skills of school managers are good enough, they should still be improving those skills.Key words: Transformational leadership, individual interest level, inspiration, intellectual stimulation and charisma.
