The survey of the points of view of the teachers working in primary schools towards the change management

Economical improvement, structural and social problems and technological reforms are among the factors that force the world to change. This research has been performed to analyze how the changes in the world affect the changes in the educational institutions and how these changes are perceived by the teachers.In the research, in the theoretical view, the subjects such as the change, the change management have been discussed. While creating the sampling of the research, 218 teachers working in 8 Primary Schools in Kadıköy in İstanbul in the 2007-2008 education year and randomly chosen among the state primary schools and also as the universe, 2183 teachers working in 75 state primary schools in Kadıköy in İstanbul in the 2007-2008 education year have been used for the research.In the statistical analysis of the data obtained from the research; t test, one sided variation analysis and Scheffe test have been used.The research done has shown the suggestions and results defined below:?At the result of the research, teachers need to participate much more even if they have the right of word.?The point of view of the teachers in primary schools towards the change leadership of the manage has become positive.?In primary schools, teachers have been suspicious about the negative sides of the change.Key words; the change, the change management, the change management in schools.
