The attitudes of elementary school teachers about education with computer supported and the influence of computer on student?s succes

The purpose of our research is to find out The Attitudes of Elementary School Teachers about Education with Computer Supported and The Influence of Computer on Student?s Success. Environment of the research is teachers who educate at 1st and 2nd stages of elemantary schools in Umraniye, Uskudar and Kadikoy which are in Istanbul. All data has gotten from surveys made by teachers. It is tried to identify using technology in which level by teachers at their jobs. First of all it is mentioned definitions about education and then technology and educational technology are explained. Opinions about reasons of technological tools have to be used by teachers or not somehow.At the end of this research, all data has been entered to computer and analyzed by SPSS program statistical. Personal info of the test subjects are analyzed with frequency and percentage values. Analyzing the data it is used questions about ?The Attitudes of Elementary School Teachers about Education with Computer Supported and The Influence of Computer on Student?s Success?.The scores related to the self-sufficiency and possible effect perceptions of the information technologies for the teachers has pointed out significant difference statistically among the primary school teachers participated in the research according to their gender, age, professional seniority, branch, having any kind of education on information technologies, level of sufficiency they felt about the use of information technologies, level of support by the school management at using information technologies, willingness to improve themselves at using information technologies, frequency of using information technologies and sufficiency of using information technology sources in their lessons. In the direction of research findings, it has been concluded that the statistical evidences about the self-sufficiency of the primary school teachers on information technology is meaningful. Various suggestions have been made in order to develop and expand the self-sufficiency at using information technology.Keywords: Education, Technology, Information Technology
