Abstract (EN)
This study is aimed to determine how perceptions and expectations about school safety of primary schools employee, school administrators and teachers cahnge with some demographic features. By this purpose a test was applied to 584 teachers and 98 administrators af primary schools in center of Sakarya. The datas were collected by a survey about school safety and an information form developed by the researcher. The developed survey about school safety has four sub dimensions as; individual safety, school safety, students safety and Works to do school a safer place. The differences in perceptions of the teachers and administrators about school safety were analyzed by t-test, One Way Anova, Mann Whitney U-test, Kruskal Wallis H-test techniques. According to results of the research, significant discrepancies were determined in the opinions of teachers and administrators about individual safety, school safety, students safety and the Works to do school a sfer place. However, some demographic features of teachers and administrators, does not show any significant discrepancy. In addition, some significant disrepancies were determined between teachers and administrators perceptions and expectations via the sub dimensions of survey of school safety
