Abstract (EN)
ABSTRACKSchools need to form a positive organizational culture so as to provide properand effective education and instrtuction. Every organization when considered as thereflection of its own culture, it can be stated for the schools that each school isdistşnguished from the other schools in terms of its own organizational culture. Inaddition to the fact that every school has a peculiar cultural and organizationalstructure, they share certain common similarities with other schools. When theorganizational culture of a given school is formed and identified, it is then easier tounderstand the influence of the behaviours principals and teachers adopt on theschool success.This study deals with organizational climate and the relationship betweenorganizational climate and the managerial skills of the principals and with a focus onthe perception level of the techers.Within the framework of the contribution by the managerial skills of theprincipals, it has been investaigated whether the perception level of the techers varyaccording to the variables of gender, age, service duration, seniority, educationallevel and the function at school.The study is a survey. The population of the study covered the primaryschools in the Ankara Province. The data were analyzed by using the SPSS software.For the statistical analyses of the data, frequency, percentage, mean, standarddeviation were calculated and Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, Mann-Whitmey U test,Kruskal-Wallis H test, and Scheffe test were carried out. The significance level was0.05. As a result of the study, it is seen in the answers given to the 30-item scale thatgender, age, seniority, educational level and the function at school were statisticallysignificant variables.Consequently, it is concluded that the contribution of the managerial skills ofthe principals to organizational climate has to a great extent an influence on teachers?perception.3
