The subjects causing problems in teacher-manager relations at elementary schools

Rapid development in science and technology in today?s world has changed the structure of society and beside this change, the importance of human relations has been increasing day by day. The most important institution that determines the level of social behaviour and relations between individuals is education institutions. Accomplishing the goals of Elemantary School depends on the effective and healthy relations between managers rather than responding the physical needs of teachers and managers who are the basic elements of a school. Enforcing the relations at schools mostly depends on recognition and comprehension of the relation between teachers and managers. The purpose of the research is to ascertain the views of teachers and managers working in Bingöl Elementary schools about ?subjects causing problems in teacher manager relations?. In order to accomplish the purpose of this research performed in scanning model, primarily literature scanning has been performed, considering the views of experts measuring device which is suitable for this research has been developed. Because it is taken as üniverse working group, a pattern was not taken. A questionnaire composed of five likert type has been tried to apply to the whole üniverse. However it has reached 560 people in total who are 489 teachers and 71 managers from 667 teachers and managers totally in üniverse. Data obtained through the questionnaire is analyzed using SPSS statictics programme related to sub dimensions, percent, average, standard deviation and independent two groups t-test and variance analyze have been used. Multi-comparison Tukey test has been applied in order to determine from which group the difference stems in case statistics is found meaningful in variance analyze. Meaningfulness level is accepted as P<0,05 in the analyze of research data, it is taken into consideration in case of the determination of difference in P<0,01 level. In the result of the research, problems have sometimes and rarely occured between teachers and managers according to the teachers and managers in Elementary Schools. Besides, while the subjets causing problems in relations of teacher and manager differ meaningfully according to the duty variable, it doesn?t differ meaningfully according to sex, education status and rank variables.
