Executive and teacher communication in primary school: The research of the teachers' perceptions to executive-teacher communication in Tuzla in İstanbul sample

This research is prepared for determining the level of teachers? perceptions to executive-teacher communication in primary school and evaluating their perceptions. The researchconsists of five parts; introduction, literature researches about the subject, method, findings,comment, result and advice.Totally 150 primary school teachers join this research. Findings obtained by a measureconsists of 32 items, aim to determine executive-teacher communication in sub-dimensions;personal introduction, participation, effecting and equality. Findings obtained by the measuremight calculate frequency (f), average (x) and standard division (ss) points appropriately.Non-parametric techniques for the groups that do not show normal peculiarity of dispersion(n<30) and parametric analyzes for the groups that show normal peculiarity of dispersion areused.Executive-teacher communication in primary schools is studied according to teachers?perceptions in this research. According to the research, perceptions of male teachers arehigher than female teachers and perceptions of teachers who have communication training arehigher than teachers who haven?t.It is also determined that the raise of teachers age and seniority make their perceptions toschool executive more positive, perceptions teachers who graduated from differentuniversities are the same, but perceptions post graduate are higher than the others.
