Comperativ analysesf of school development activities at the primary schools in Ankara and Stuttgart

Within this study, a comparison analysis has been done on the school developmentimplementations based on thoughts of teachers and managers of primary schools in Ankara andStuttgart.For sampling of the study, 300 teachers and 25 school manager have been contacted. Thequestionnaire prepared by the researcher has been used for comparison analysis of the schooldevelopment implementations. The ?t-test? was used to check the frequency and percentage of thepersonal information of the teachers and managers and whether the thoughts of the groups aredifferent or the same. In this study, level of significiance was taken as p≤0.05Findings of this study:1. In Ankara and Stuttgart, there have been significant differences between the schoolmanagers and teachers on the school development programmes being implemented in theirschools on the following subjects:a) Their aimb) Physical conditionsc) Team working and coordinations of teachersd) School environmente) Social environment - school relationsf) School budgetg) Motivation of school personnelh) Improvement of the qualification of the school personneli) Knowledge and abilities of the personnel, implementing school developmentprogrammej) Usage of educational technologyk) Teamwork and communication.2. In Ankara and Stuttgart, there have been significant differences between the schoolmanagers and teachers on the school development programmes being implemented in theirschools on the following subjects:a) Leadership of the school manager,b) Effective working of the teachers,c) Expectations of the pupils,d) But Parent involvement, there haven?t been significant differences.3. In the implementation of the development programme in their school, there have beensignificant differences between the school managers and teachers (working in primaryschools in Ankara and Stuttgart) on the level of perception of issues faced.
