Abstract (EN)

In this study, it was aimed to identify the effects of Instructional Leadership behaviors of Public Primary School Principals on teachers? Motivation. In the study, whether teachers? motivation differ according to the variables of sex, age, educational level, work experience, and their tenure at their present school or not, the motivation level of teachers , sub-dimensions of school principals? instructional leadership behaviors and their displaying level for general instructional leadership behaviors and the relation between primary school principals? instructional leadership behaviors and teachers? motivation were examined.Data, found in the study was analysed by SPSS 15. Programme. For the comparison of teachers motivation levels according to the variables of sex, age, work experience, and tenure at his/her present school; `ANOVA?, for the comparison of teachers? motivation level according to their educational level; Kruskal Wallis Test, for defining displaying sub-dimensions of instructional leadership behaviors level of school principals and the level of primary school teacher?s motivation; descriptive statistics, for primary school principals? instructional leadership behaviors? predicting teacher?s motivation; simple linear regression analysis were used.The results acquired in the study can be summarized as follows;A reasonable difference couldn?t be found among motivational level?s of primary school teachers in terms of their sex, educational level, work experience, the tenure at their present school. It has been found out that the movation level of teachers between 21-25 ages is higher than those who are between 36-45 ages and there isn?t a distinctive difference between age groups of 26-30, 31-35 and 46 and above.It has been acquired that, from the point of teachers? perceptions, primary school teachers? motivation level is at ?widely content? level. It has been found out that ,from the point of teacher?s perceptions, school principals display the behaviors of defining school?s mission, the behaviors of managing curriculum and instruction, the behaviors of improving learning climate, and general instructional leadership behaviors at ?mostly? level.It has been found out that there is a meaningful relation between Instructional Leadership Behaviors of primary school principals and teachers? motivation, and Instructional Leadership Behaviors of primary school principals explains about %42 of teacher?s motivation.
