KEY WORDSInfluence level of the primary school principals and inspector on teachersacording to the perceptions of primary school teachers(Sample of zmir?s metropolisdistricts)This research is conducted to determine primary schools principals andinspectors? influence level on teachers, according to elementary school eachers?perceptions.Teachers, who are working in the officical primary schools in municipalityfrontiers of zmir?s central districts, from the scope of research.There are 353primary schools and working 9397 teachers are found in municipality frontriesdistricts. (Balçova, Bornova, Buca, Çiğli, Gaziemir, Güzelbahçe, Karşıyaka, Konak,Narlıdere). But, while these schools are designated, only the schools that haveprincipals working more than a year in the same school, were taken inyoconsderation, because teachers must know their principals well and answer thequestions about him/her. For this reason, the scope was determined as 258 schools.The number of teachers are 6318 that groupin the scope and represent teachers, weredetermined as the size of example.The subject number that correspends to 15 percentof teachers group number is determined as the sample size which would represent theteachers. Considering the research?s problems, in designating the schools, which weretaken into research example, some limits were set. So, the size of example, which willrepresent the teachers? group were 947 people. Due to the number of public surveythat turned as an example and in useful situation were 839, this number had formedthe example of research.To designate the names of schools, that joined to the example, zmir NationalEducations Manager?s reigstrations were utilized. To determine teachers, who werexiiiapplied to the public survey, districts? national education mansger?s registrationswere used.The example was determined whit the proportional heap example method. Theexample group was limited with teachers; managers, temporary permenent staffs andcandidetes were not taken into the example.To analyze the taken data in this research; statistical methods like freqeuncy,percentage, arithmetical mean and Standard deviation, and to establish differencesamong groups; ?T Test? and ?Single Sided Variance Analysis? were used.?LSD Test?was applied to determine the source of differences among groups. SPSS statisticsprogram was used for Statistical Analysis.The relation between Primary School Inspectors, who the dependent variablesof the research and influence Primary School Teachers with their authority, specialityand personalities, and Primary School Theachers, who are the independent variablesof the research with their seniority, sexuality, branch, educational position andfundamental tendencies to teaching was considered.xivFindings that are the results of the statistical analysis can be listed as follows.1- According to teachers? seniority and fundamental tendencies to teaching, there isno great difference in influence level of School principals? authority, speciality andpersonality variables, but according to teachers? gender, there are great differences ininfluence level with speciality towards ladies, and also great differnces in terms ofteachers? branches in three dimensions, influence levels show great differecebetweenclaas, sociology and language teachers in influencing with authority; betweenclass and fine arts teachers in influencing with speciality; and between class and allthe other teachers in influencing with personality.2- When it?s looked to principals? influence mean, principal on teachers, it?s seen thatprincipals would usually influnce with authority and personality, but sometimes withspeciality, and if it?s looked to general influence you should see him/her usuallyinfluencing the others.3- There is no gerat difference in influence levels toward authority, speciality andpersonality variales of primary school inspectors according to gender, branch,educational position and fundamental tendencies to teaching of teachers , but there isa great difference between influencing and the reason of this are the teachers whohave the length of service for 6-10 years.4- It is seen that inspectors usually influence teachers, with authority and speciality,but sometimes with personality, and if it?s looked to general influence he/she does itsometimes.5- When it?s compared that inspectors and principals influencing teachers withauthority according to gender, length of service, branch, educational position andxvfundamental tendencies to of teachers?, great difference can be seen betweenprincipal and class, sociology and language teachers, but this could not be seenbetween primary inspectors.6- When the influence leves with speciality is compared, principals influence, ingender variable to ladies, in branch variable to class, fine arts and otherteachers andthere is an expressive difference in influence level of length of service within 6 and 10years teachers.7- When the influence levels with personality is compared, principal shows a greatdifference in brance variables between class and all other teachers.
