Abstract (EN)

This research aims to investigate the organisational trust perceptions of primary and secondary school teachers in terms of certain variables. It was in survey model. The population of the research was composed of 1059 teachers who were working at formal primary and secondary schools in Kırşehir central province. The sampling group of the resarch was composed of 400 teachers who were working at 14 schools and they were selected by simple random sampling method. In the research ?The Omnibus T-Scale? developed by Hoy and Moran (2003) was used in order to identify the organisational trust perceptions of primary and secondary school teachers. The data were analysed with SPSS 15.0 package programme. Percentage tables, item avarage, pearson corelation analysis, one way variance analysis and for independent groups and t-test were used for the analysis.The findings showed that the organisational trust perceptions of primary and secondary teachers was generally at the level of ?I agree?. While the trust perceptions of teachers were at the level of ?agree? in terms of trust to colleagues and students and to parents, it was at the level of ? slightly agree? in term of trust to manager. There was a meaningful difference in trust perceptions according to gender and age variables while there were no meaningful differences seniority, education level and branch variables.At research; it was suggested to organize some activities and in-service trainings in order to increase the trust perceptions of teachers towards the managers, the colleagues , the students and their parents.Key Words: Trust ,Primary and Secondary School, Organizational Trust
