Abstract (EN)
The aim of the current study is to determine primary school and branch teachers?, who are working in primary schools, professional enthusiasm levels and their perceptions about the factors affecting their professional enthusiasm level.The working group is made up of the teachers working in the schools of Ministry of Education in Mamak district of Ankara. A total of 310 participants (%100, 0), 204 of whome are female (% 65.8) and 106 of whome are male (% 34.2), out of 3940 teachers, 1399 of whom are primary school and 2541 of whome are branch teachers, participated in this study via random sampling method. The survey is made up of three sections. In the first part personal information, in the second part professional enthusiasm level and in the final part the factors affecting professional enthusiasm mean and meaningfulness levels (p) were taken into consideration. level take place. The arithmetical mean and standard deviation of the gathered data were calculated. To analyze the data, because gender, marital status and branch variants have two sub-categories, t-test was used for independent groups when making comparisons according to those variants. Anova was applied to other comparisons made according to the variants, `seniority in profession and education situation?, having more than two sub-categories. In interpreting the data findings, group arithmeticalProfessional enthusiasm of elementary school and branch teachers was estimated in high level. Although professional enthusiasm level of elementary school and branch teachers doesn?t change according to such variants like gender, seniority in profession, education situation or branch; the variant of marital status affects their enthusiasm level in profession deeply. According to the average of the views about the factors affecting professional enthusiasm level, teachers believe that their profession encourages their creativity. However, it was also determined that they believe their efforts for the students are in vain; they work in a competitive and managerial environment which doesn?t have solidarity and doesn?t support their professional development; and the high number of the students in their classes prevents them from performing their job. The views of elementary school and branch teachers about the factors affecting their level of enthusiasm in their profession vary according to variants like gender, marital status, seniority in profession, education situation and branch.
