Abstract (EN)
The purpose of this study is to determine what the perception level of the organizational socizilation of the teachers is.The study is descriptive. The population of study was 3600 teachers in 178 public primary schools in the city of Antalya in the academic year of 2005-2006. The sample was composed of 600 teachers. The stratified sampling has been used to determine the study?s sample. Determined number of administrators and teachers were randomly selected.In the study ?Organizational Socizilation Scale? developed by Kartal (2003) was used for measuring instrument. The data were analyzed by using SPSS for Windows software package and frequencies, mean and standard deviation. In the analysis of the data exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis, first order factor analysis, t-test and one way variance analysis were used. The significance level was <0.05. In the cases of significant differences Post Hoc LCD and Dunnett?s C tests were used in order to find the differences among which groups there were difference.It was resulted that class and branch teachers? perception level of organizational socialization was positive. There was a significant relationship between; organizational socialization levels of primary and junior high school teachers? the perceptions of work satisfaction, motivation, loyalty and acceptance in terms of their obligation. There was a significant relationship between; organizational socialization levels of primary and junior high school teachers? the perceptions of all the dimensions of organizational socialization in terms of their ages. There wasn?t a significant relationship between; organizational socialization levels of primary and junior high school teachers? the perceptions of work satisfaction, motivation, loyalty and acceptance in terms of gender. There was a significant relationship between; organizational socialization levels of primary and junior high school teachers? perceptions of work satisfaction, motivation, loyalty and acceptance in terms of seniority. There was a significant relationship between; organizational socialization levels of primary and junior high school teachers? the perceptions of work satisfaction, motivation and acceptance in terms of marital status.
