Level of primary school administrators' in fulfilling their tasks concerning guidance

The main purpose of this research is to analyze professional guidance andcounselling capacities of primary school principals, in addition that to determine atwhich level the school principals perform their tasks concerning guidance.The dependent variable of this research is guidance capacities of primaryschool principals. Teacher's age and period of duty are independent variables.A survey devoleped by the researcher was given to the groups. The survey iscomposed of two parts. In first part, personal information concerning individualswho joined the survey took place. In second part, 30 expressions concerningguidance tasks of school principals took place.The survey has been applied to all of the teachers and school administratorsin all the schools in province Aksaray. One-way variance analyze and t-test has beenimplemented to analyze collected data. The data obtained were processed throughthe software- SPSS 14.0 .The findings of the study can be summarized as follows:According to joiners, leadership behaviors of school principals are realizedmostly the behavior of ?School principals advertise the regulations of process of lowat every chance and make a statement if needed?. School principals display lowlevel at the behaviour of ? School principals give sample lessons to teachers to showhow a lesson can be given better?.
